One of my photos was selected as a Finalist at Dave Bown Projects Photo Contest...

One of my photos was selected as a finalist at Dave Bown Projects 3rd Semiannual Photo contest.
The contest was curated by Paddy Johnson, Art Fag City, New York; Richard Polsky, Author and Art Dealer; and Christina Strassfield, Guild Hall Museum, New York.
There were 6 cash prizes totalling $10,000 and 25 finalists like myself chosen. Unfortunately I was not a cash prize winner but am happy to report that I was chosen as a finalist none the less.
This is my third submission to Dave Bown Projects contest and am very proud that I was recoginized.

I will be part of Krause Gallery's Group show in January...

Benjamin Krause told me that he will be holding a Group Show at the Gallery in January and 2 of my pieces will be a part of the show.
We are going to show Tilt-Shift Taj Mahal and Tilt-Shift Philadelphia. Both pieces will be 30" x 45".
It will be the on or about January 18th or so but I will post again when I get the exact Dates.

I photographed my friends Miniature Trains...Amazing...

I was invited to take photos of my friend Frankie's uncle's Miniature Trains, Uncle Al. He lives in Staten Island so I took a ride out there this week, rented some lighting and some lenses and did a full day photo shoot.
Uncle Al has been working on this train set for about 20 years, it is totally amazing. Check out the photos.

Here I am featured at the New York Optimist...

Jon Sebastian of the New York Optimist took it upon himself to go through many of my NY photos from my website and post some of them along with my Bio at his website.
He did a great job!
I mentioned I met Jon at the Javits Center last week and he kept his word... very quickly too I might add.

I met John Sebastian at the Javits Center this weekend for the Contemporary ArtFair.
He is the publisher for "The New York Optimist."
He came up to my booth and we started talking about Photography and things. He was impressed with my work and emailed me to let me know I will be featured shortly at his website.

We also had discussions about a book he is printing in December.
All in all a good connection was made at the show.
