Yahoo NEWS Photo Gallery...Mind Bending Photos:Wonders of the World

Mailonline a UK news service printed an article about my Tilt Shift Photos on May 2nd. Once that was online I was contacted by Focus Magazine, a German news magazine and also YAHOO about posting my work online. Since Yahoo has posted the article at this point in time I am the #1 Most Popular News Photo Gallery Slideshow with the potential to be Featured on their Front Page.

Here is the link to the Mail Online article...

Here is the link to the YAHOO
                     article...

This is the description in the article from YAHOO...

"Richard Silver's photographs show us the world's biggest sights like Machu Picchu in Peru or Copacabana in Brazil. His photos, however, are not simply depictions of the landmarks but planned, artistic visual constructions that, with their playful combinations of sharpness and blur, create new worlds of experience. Silver says:"People always aske me, How do I make people look so small or why do I make people look so small? Simple, WE ARE. In the big picture we are just a small blip of what the world truly is and I enjoy the power to change the perspective of the way people look at the world and maybe at themselves." "

I am featured at www.iflymagazine.com by KLM airlines this month...

I am very excited and proud to be the featured Photographer for www.iflymagazine.com, an online magazine from KLM airlines. Every month they choose different world wide interests from the places they fly involving photogarphy, art or culture...this month they chose to feature my Tilt-Shift Photos int his BRIGHT edition.

The locations they chose of mine are:
1-Hawaii
2-Machu Picchu
3-New York
4-Rome

I was asked to give a paragraph about each photo so there is an explanation at the bottom of each page. Altogether I submitted 10 photos and these are what they felt worked best for the magazine. So let's say that September is off to a great start already.

KLM airlines will be featuring me in their iFly Magazine in September...

I was contacted by KLM airlines about my Tilt-Shift photos. They found me online when searching for this type of photography. Apparently they were impressed enough to contact me and feature me in their September 2012 issue. 5 photos were chosen for the isssue. Each month they choose a photographer associated with travel and this issue I seemed to be the right fit for what they were looking for.
Here is their website....

New York, Machu Picchu, Paris, Hawaii, Santorini were the places chosen for the spread. Here are 2 of what they will use.
